Hope You're Fine

Hope you’refine.

Every day begins with the same thought. Hoyfo quietly lets you know your loved ones are okay.

How the sealing works

A day, end to end

Nothing happened today. That's the update.

  • A glass of chai on a table, lit from behind
    01 · 05:00 — 11:00

    Morning

The kitchen light came on at 6:10.

Ten minutes earlier than usual, which is how you know it is a good day. Tea on the veranda by half past. The gate opened once, for the milk.

    • Kitchen light — 6:10
    • Veranda, tea — 6:34
    • Gate opened — 6:52

    02 · 11:00 — 16:00

    Afternoon

Medicines came to the door at 11:20.

The chemist's boy, the same one as always. Lunch a little late. The house is quiet between two and four, the way it has been every day this month.

    • Delivery received — 11:20

  • Two people walking home together down a lit street at night
    03 · 16:00 — 21:00

    Evening

    Dad returned home at 6:40.

Back from the walk he has taken since he retired. Two neighbours at the gate for a while. Lights on across the front of the house by seven.

    • Gate — 6:40 pm
    • Visitors at gate — 6:44 pm
    • Front lights — 7:02 pm
  • One lit window in an otherwise dark building at night
    04 · 21:00 — 05:00

    Night

    The house settled at 10:15.

Doors checked, lights down, nothing moving after quarter past ten. Hoyfo rests until morning. Nothing is read, nothing is recorded, nothing is sent.

Compatibility

Works with thecameras and sensorsyou already own.

Most homes with older parents in them are already instrumented — CCTV at the gate, a contact on the front door, a smoke alarm in the kitchen. Hoyfo reads the cameras over ONVIF and RTSP and the sensors over Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter or MQTT. Nothing new goes on the wall, and the recorder keeps doing exactly what it does now.

Beyond the camera

Some of the most useful signals in a house never had a lens.

  • Door contacts

Nothing on the wall changes. Only what it is for.

No cameras at all?

Hoyfo runs on sensors alone. You lose the snapshots and keep everything else — the daily lines, the routine, the escalation when a pattern breaks.

Privacy

We built itso we couldn'tlook.

Every company in this category promises not to look at your video. We removed the possibility instead — which is a harder thing to build and a much easier thing to trust.

  • Video never leaves your home.

Streams are read on the Hub, in the house, and the frames are discarded as they are read. There is no upload path for footage, because we never built one.

  • Guardian Cloud cannot read photos.

What we route is a sealed envelope. We can see that it exists and where it is going. We cannot open it — not for a partner, not for a subpoena, not for ourselves.

  • Only your family holds the keys.

Keys are generated on your Hub and shared directly with your family's devices. If every server we own were taken tomorrow, not one photograph would be exposed.

The architecture

How Hoyfo works.

Four steps, and only one of them touches the internet. The interesting design decision is what is missing: there is no place in this diagram where video is stored.

  1. 01

    Cameras & sensors

Whatever the house already has — CCTV at the gate, a contact on the front door, the smoke alarm in the kitchen, a motion sensor in the hall. Nothing new is mounted, nothing is rewired.

  2. 02

    Hoyfo Hub

A small box beside the recorder reads the streams and the sensor traffic locally, and turns both into short, plain sentences. Frames are discarded as they are read.

  3. 03

    Encrypted mailbox

Sealed envelopes are posted to Guardian Cloud, which can route them but cannot open them. No video is ever uploaded.

  4. 04

    Family

Your phone holds the keys. The envelope opens on your device and becomes a line you can read in four seconds.

The mission

Help families knowtheir loved onesare okay.

No new hardware. No storage subscription. No surveillance. Just the small, ordinary certainty that today went the way it usually does.
